French-Art-Deco-Center-Piece.
Very interesting French Art Deco Centre-Piece from
the 20’s.
It has an outstanding wrought iron mounting in the form of 2 birds
looking for us as Cocoi Heron, (Ardea cocoi), with their wings
opened surrounding the glass bowl.
The glass bowl is blown in mottled glass in the colours yellow
and brown with a rich variety of shades and etched. It is not
signed but may be it had once an enamelled signature now gone
by cleaning.
The glass quality remembers strongly to the works of Lorrain-Daum.
The mounting is in perfect condition. The glass has a chip on
the rim (as you can see on the pictures) of about 5 x 5 mm. in
the biggest part.

Interesante centro de mesa francés Art Deco
de los años 20.
La montura es realmente excepcional en la forma de lo que a nuestro
ojos son 2 Garzas Morenas (Ardea cocoi), con sus alas abiertas,
rodeando el bowl de vidrio.
Este es de vidrio soplado moteado en los colores amarillo y marrón,
con una rica variedad de matices, y esmerilado. No tiene firma
aunque puede ser que originalmente la tuvo esmaltada y haya desaparecido
debido a las limpiezas.
La calidad del vidrio recuerda fuertemente a los trabajos de Lorrain-Daum.
La montura está en perfecta condición, el bowl tiene
un desportillado en el borde (como puede observar en las fotos)
de aproximadamente 5 x 5 mm. en su parte mas grande.
